webBMS Summary

As National Telephone and Data grew we identified areas that could help our major clients keep informed of work status and manage the communications between ourselves and their staff. The idea of a web portal into our custom designed Business Management System (BMS) was the best way to provide this. webBMS was born and with suggestions from clients evolved into what it is today.

Designed to allow their employees to monitor and request service work with National Telephone and Data, webBMS has been essential in the management of work across multiple offices and with multiple clients. All communications between the companies are logged and emails notifications are sent when new notes in the system are created.

With our inhouse programmers constantly designing our software, we can adapt webBMS around particular situations and provide a customised solution for each of our clients.

If you have any problems with webBMS please don't hesitate to contact us.

13/06/2006 Unscheduled downtime of webBMS
Due to some recent network changes webBMS was down today

You would have received either "Error 500 Internal Server Error", "Cannot access //SVR-MARS/database/source/bms-source-v1.mdb" and "Service Unavailable".

We have adjusted our servers and tested operation. We apologise for the inconvenience.

7/06/2006 webBMS v0.93 released
MS Access does some strange things with dates, recently we have noticed BMS using either American (mm/dd/yy) or Aussie (dd/mm/yy) format for the entry of dates causing confusion and invalid data. We have updated some functions to try and work around these issues.

Unfortunately due to the randomness of the fault only time will tell if these modifications have solved the problem.
If you still experience this issue please notify support of the issue and where it occurred

Kind Regards, Dr Proctor
